What happened, and when

Short dated notes: what shipped, what broke, and what changed.

  1. All four Cloudbridge apps run on a test site

Polyglot Fields and Limits Doctor are installed on Jira, and Beacon Banners and Stampwell on Confluence. I went through each app’s test script on the live site and fixed what broke, including a field count that didn’t match Jira’s own. A second pass on October 27 checked them as a regular user and as a brand-new admin.

  2. Pinedaily's local news drafts itself twice a week

Every Tuesday and Friday an agent checks the county, the town, Game and Fish and other local sources, drafts each new story with the links it checked, and opens one pull request. I read it and approve. The first run added five stories.

  3. Abstractor: the water rights on one Montana parcel

Abstractor takes a Montana parcel and pulls every water right tied to it. It reads the state’s abstract for each right and the Water Court’s basin notices and objection lists, then flags what a buyer should ask about. It’s built on the same archive as Ditchrider and was tested against two real parcels, including a 440-acre ranch.

  4. Pinedaily push alerts

Readers can turn on alerts and pick topics: weather warnings for town (checked every 10 minutes), new events, jobs, lost & found, and news. Overnight, only urgent warnings go out; everything else waits until 7am. It’s self-hosted, so no third-party alert service sees anyone’s phone.

  5. Pinedaily works from a phone's home screen

You can now add Pinedaily to your phone’s home screen like an app. Pages you’ve opened are saved on the phone, so the calendar and the weather page still load when you lose signal out of town.

  6. Started Cloudbridge

Atlassian ends Data Center support in March 2029, and it publishes lists of Marketplace apps that won’t be rebuilt for cloud. I scanned the Marketplace against those lists, 212 apps in all, and ranked the gaps by demand and by how well a small cloud app could fill them. The first four apps come from the top of that ranking.

  7. Started the Intermundia Labs site

One place for everything Intermundia Labs has built and is building. It’s built with Astro and stays out of search results until launch.

  8. Pinedaily submitted to Google

I verified the domain, submitted the sitemap, and requested indexing on every page. I also added a page for each news story and each event, so things can be found one at a time.

  9. The Ditchrider nightly archive started

The first snapshots for Utah, Idaho, and Colorado landed on the data branch, and Montana was added the same week. The first 30 days had 1,044 rankable filings, well above the 200 I’d set as the kill line.

  10. Tributary now has history back to January 2024

I backfilled 31 monthly rosters. Some quirks turned up along the way: two months with no SEC data at all, one month re-posted byte-for-byte, and older files in xlsx instead of CSV. The pipeline now handles all of those and rebuilds the full history on its own.

  11. The Padside patch shop is live

The first real sale went through (seat 001). I was the buyer, testing the live flow. It took two tries: a missing secret on the host, then the wrong ID. Both are fixed, and there’s now a restore flow in case a buyer loses their link.
