Padside is a launch tracker. You see what’s going up next and when, without a page full of ads. I want it to stay that way, so it has to pay for itself some other way.

The first try at that is the mission patch. You buy a numbered patch (a “seat”) through Stripe, and it’s yours for good.

How it works

  • Checkout goes through Stripe. A webhook records the sale and gives the buyer their seat number.
  • The success page shows a permanent restore link, with buttons to copy it or email it to yourself. If you lose it, there’s a restore page that takes the link or the checkout ID.
  • It runs on Railway, and the launch data comes from a public launch API.

Status

The shop is live and has sold its first patch. Seat 001 was me, testing the live payment flow end to end. The next step is to post it during a big public launch countdown and see whether strangers buy one.
